Storm Betty may not have been as severe in the mid-west as other parts of the country, but she still managed to wreak havoc on the Clare Credit Union Adult Camogie Championship round 2 fixtures on Friday evening.
All senior fixtures fell victim to the weather conditions with many pitches rendered unplayable.
In the intermediate championship, the group 1 match between St. Josephs DB v Whitegate , fixed for Gurteen @ 7.15pm, was called off.
The other two intermediate matches, Corofin v Broadford in Group 2 and Éire Óg v Tulla in Group1, played at Corofin and Éire Óg, respectively, went ahead.
Both were good, competitive matches in spite of the elements.
Results :
Corofin 0-08 v 1-12 Broadford
Éire Óg 1-08 v 1-05 Tulla
Junior A, B & C matches are scheduled for today.
Details of re- fixtures will be announced in due course.
