Clare Camogie Board would like to announce the appointment of Ger O'Connell from Clonlara as the newly appointed Clare Senior Camogie manager.
The Clonlara native has been a prominent member of his Clubs senior hurling team over the last two decades, when Clonlara achieved success in 2008 winning the Canon Hamilton and also 3 Clare Cup titles.
In recent years O'Connell has taken charge of the local Senior Camogie team, and has led Truagh Clonlara to Senior Shield success and consecutive McMahon Cup senior semi finals, and also Div 1 League success in 2017.
O'Connell will be joined on his management team by Barry O'Connell, Paul Nihil, Shane O'Brien, Killian Fennessy, Eileen Gleeson (all Clonlara), Laura Linnane & Gemma Quinlan (Wolfe Tones), Liam Clancy (Newmarket on Fergus), Claire Commane (Inagh Kilnamona) & Finbarr McCarthy (Ahane)
The Junior management of 2018 Ann Marie McGann, Tim McGrath, Ann Marsh McMahon, Trevor White, Bernard McMahon were all returned to their positions for 2019 .
Both managements were ratified at the October meeting of Clare Camogie at Fr McNamara Camogie Park on Monday night 01st October.
